WHICH PROGRAM IS THE RIGHT ONE FOR ME???

:: 1 — The Event/Party Program brings dancers of all disciplines together! It represents a social platform to exchange experiences at various dance events, to make friends and simply hang out with each other at ballroom galas, receptions or to meet up and dance in the club scene, which finally fulfills its purpose to unite dancers into one global community. Here an example: You live in Barcelona, Spain and you're interested in a certain type of dance/music, NYDP connects you with like-minded dancers, related activities and the rest of the local community. However, let's say you come to NYC for a visit... you let the NYDP Support know about it and we'll get you in touch with the New York Dance Community. And this works of course also vise versa.

:: 2 — The Workshop Program introduces or enhances your performance in the selected discipline, based on your experience level, ranging from beginning to professional. NYDP invites instructors from renowned institutions, who're donating their expertise at workshops in New York City. You'll be informed about upcoming workshops via email and can conveniently decide to participate or not. There're no obligations! Besides workshops, the program of course ensures to make you part of the New York Dance Community (same as in 1, with extension: workshop).

:: 3 — The Scholarship Program supports dancers who do not have the financial resources to easily pay for living, training and tuition/class expenses without a certain number of career-distracting part-time jobs on the side, BUT do have the talent to be the next Broadway star or ABT principal dancer. There are two stages of acceptance: Stage No. 1 will provide you instantly with preparing workshops for the so-called ADT auditions (see Stage No. 2) on your primary level, professional headshots for your resume with an accompanying photo shoot for your own promotion and recommendations & tips for ongoing/upcoming Broadway or Ballet company auditions (based on your department). In order to pass Stage No. 2, you'll be invited to an audition in front of a carefully selected committee for your primary dance discipline. If you pass this stage, you're officially a member of the distinguished Advanced Dance Team (ADT). This means you can either choose any dance institution in the world (Julliard, SFB School, Royal Ballet School, etc.) and we'll pay the tuition, or may rather choose to get your own agent from a renowned agency NYDP will pay and additionally receive Acting classes & Vocal Training, preparing you for successful Broadway or Ballet company auditions. We see our mission for this program here completed, by having you concentrating on your career instead of figuring out how to survive in one of the most expensive cities to live in the world. As member of the ADT, you'll be also performing at the MSG opening event in 2009. Besides all this, the program of course ensures to make you part of the New York Dance Community (same as in 1 and 2).
