Welcome to the web platform of the New York Dance Project (NYDP), where dreams do come true! NYDP represents the largest collaboration project between leading dance insitutions throughout the United States with its purpose to support young inspiring professional dancers with a full tuition coverage and additional support (workshops, agents, managers etc.). Simply the largest scholarship program of its kind! Professional dancers, advanced students and their teachers from all over the country join this unique project since its foundation in 2007 and, based on numbers, turned already into the biggest dance project in the world. This year we added the opportunity to discover the magic of dance also for amateurs. We organize highest proficiency workshops throughout the United States with its headquarter in New York City. -- This project has 7 different departments: Ballet, Latin American Dance, Jazz/Theatre, Tap, Hip-Hop, Breakdance and fun 'discipline' Club Dance. Auditions for NYDP support take place in every US state.

For the first time in the history of dance performance, the world's best dancers, coming from England, Germany, Russia, France and our nation's leading institutions, will unify all 8 different diciplines in one spectacular and breathtaking choreography with a storytelling purpose as a musical, which will be rehearsed by participants of NYDP for its world premiere, accompanied by special guests, at Madison Square Garden - broadcasted live worldwide! The entire income of this charity event will go into a scholarship fund for new talented dancers, who may choose to dance at any institution in the world! Furthermore, our ballet department will perform at the New York State Theater and Metropolitan Opera House, Lincoln Center. A crossover department performance will take place on a Broadway stage.
